Sunshine and good times …worth crossing an ocean for

Embark on a transatlantic crossing where paradise awaits and laidback living lingers. Stop briefly in Madeira before heading for sparkling Caribbean island gems; each with their own captivating calypso charm.

Your first Caribbean call is the idyllic island of Antigua. It has to be the perfect place to soak up the Caribbean spirit (think chilling out on some of its 365 paradise beaches). Move on to picture-perfect St Kitts, blessed with deserted white beaches, sugar cane fields and lush rainforests. In St Lucia, a tour to the dramatic Soufrière volcano shows off the island’s full beauty. St Vincent won’t disappoint, with its fresh seafood, gentle calypso and unspoilt coves. Next is beautiful Barbados. Enjoy water sports, stunning nature walks, or a trip to the magnificent Harrison’s Cave complex of caverns and waterfalls. It’s not unusual to feel a bit blue when leaving cosmopolitan Curaçao, home of the delicious sapphire-blue liqueur. But a day of snorkeling in marine-life haven of Bonaire will cheer you up no end. Then one of the Caribbean’s prettiest harbours awaits in Grenada. Spend a day enjoying its waterfalls, rainforests, volcanic craters and beaches. Finally, it’s back to St Lucia for your flight home.
